Düsseldorf was special. On May 9th, the city center hosted a meaningful awareness day dedicated to breast cancer, bringing together medical information, fitness activities and support offers for women during and after cancer. Several medical institutions took part, including Uniklinik Düsseldorf, Evangelisches Krankenhaus Düsseldorf, Sana-Krankenhaus Gerresheim and Marien-Hospital. The day was moderated by Bärbel Schäfer, who created a warm and open atmosphere on stage. She made it easier for speakers to talk about breast cancer in front of many people with sensitivity, professionalism and a very human touch. MEGAMI was proud to support this day as a partner of LebensHeldin! e.V. Their work for women during and after cancer is deeply important. They create spaces for connection, strength and new beginnings. Spaces where women can meet others who understand what they have been through. What stayed with us most were the conversations. So many honest exchanges. So much openness. So many shared experiences. We are grateful for every conversation, every smile and every story shared that day.
